Polignano e Mare

After school we met at the train station and went to Polignano e Mare, a small town  a few miles north of Monopoli.

We had lunch at an outside osteria....5 different kinds of pizza and salad.  The pizza is a lot lighter than what we're used to in the U.S.  It was all very tasty.

All the towns we've seen have Old Town sections which are small windy streets, no cars allowed because
they are more or less a small walkway.  Most people live in apartments or flats, as they call them.  Haven't seen any houses yet.
